The Boat Driver
Remember that bad drivers
can ruin anyone's wakeboarding expierence,
especially a beginner.
Here Are The Basics
-
First idle out so the line is nice and tight so
there is no slack (slack will jerk the rider's arms off).
-
Make sure the rider is ready, (like when they
yell, "GO" or "Hit It!") and then accelerate to around
18-20.
-
Keep a nice straight line by focusing on a far object or something else that will help you. Remember to just use your wrist
and fingers to speed up or slow down becuase if you use your whole are you will
go from 18-30 and mess up the rider.
- When the rider falls,
pull the throttle back and turn around at idle.
Alot of people turn around fast but that just
sends huge waves to other riders and thats not
cool.
Well you've learned the basics now go out there
and drive your riders!
